So here they are stuck with a verbally and mentally abusive shit-stain of a "sage" who thinks he's hot stuff meanwhile our MC and his "main story" is this convoluted tangle of cutesy romance moments with his LI interspersed with dealing with the asshole villains of the week that never ends in a satisfying manner. Like seriously wtf dude?! Then the author makes some bullshit rules for the sake of cheap drama that makes the sister and her other party members unable to punish said douche because they inherently cannot harm fellow party member unless they are physically harmed first. Yet another beta MC who has such low self esteem he won't even stand up to his douchebag party member who kicks him out because said douche wants to marry the MC's SISTER. Together with the Half-Elf Carpenter living downtown and the Princess who couldn’t become the Hero’s companion, he aims to live a slow life in the frontier of the world governed by a person’s inborn Divine Protection! Red, who was a member of the Hero's party acting as a scout, strategist and negotiator, is the elder brother of a young girl that has the Divine Protection of the Hero and that battles against the Demon Lord.
